Local Survivor Recaps Her Journey with Breast Cancer and the Cancer Institute
“In August, 2013, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Following surgery, I was referred to Northeast Louisiana Cancer Institute, and from the moment I arrived, I knew I was right where I needed to be for radiation treatment. My doctor and the entire staff treated me with professionalism and kindness. They worked with my schedule, reassured any concerns, provided excellent care, and always kept me informed of my progress. Our community is blessed to have this local treatment center in Monroe & West Monroe! I never missed a day of work during my weeks of treatment, and more importantly, I never missed time with my family and friends, nor had any added travel cost. I am forever grateful for the successful care I received, and for the benefit of being able to stay right here at home!”
