Monroe's Finest donates $775.00 to Support Prostate Cancer Screening
Monroe’s finest were onsite today at the Northeast Louisiana Cancer Institute to donate $775.00 specifically to the Louisiana Cancer Foundation in support of prostate cancer screening.
The Louisiana Cancer Foundation holds an annual Prostate Cancer Screening each September in which men can receive an examination by a Urologist and receive a PSA blood test free of charge.
This is the second year that the Monroe Police Department has supported this important cancer screening for the men in our community.
35 Monroe Police Officers donated money toward the effort.
